Lee

My recent has been far more orientated towards the film & video spectrum of my time. This isn't to say I've been slacking on my photography. Based on the blog, I've noticed I'm never constantly mixing up posts depicting film & photography. I'm usually in one phase or the other. For the moment, I'll probably be switching back into photography mode until I plot out my next short film.

The pictures I'm posting now are a hodgepodge of what I like the best from going out a few days and taking pictures with some of my friends from the university.

Jasmine Miller

Things have calmed down quite a bit since school ended which is allowing me to post many of the projects I put on hold. This was a photoshoot I did about a week and a half before school was out. The model is Jasmine Miller, an up and coming model at The University of Alabama.

Jasmine has a spark. One that I can say caused us to butt heads on a few occasions, but the best pictures seem to always have a good story behind them.  Expect more from her soon.

Justice, Life, Dedication

The entire concept for this photoshoot came from watching the time and work two of my friends put into keeping themselves in shape. It's a philosophy I need to acquire. It took a good amount of time coordinating this photoshoot, but the results were superb.

Family

My father and little sister came to visit a few days ago since I've been so busy these past few weeks on campus. I decided to take out some of this time to capture a few memories for the site.

Headshots

I had to shoot some headshots for my friend, Ashley.  She's using them for her entrance portfolio for a pageant. I definitely wanted to be a part of this. So far I've been displaying alot of my work, but I'd like to get feedback on my progression. Constructive criticism is always needed.  Let me know where my next destination should be in regards to honing  my photographic, film, etc. skills.

Christina Danielle- Behind the Scenes

The photoshoot was a big success. The end products could be considered some of my best work.

Everything (in general) went smoothly but with anything done well there is always maintenance being done behind the scenes to ensure a job well done.

I thought I'd share some of this with the audience.

Christina Danielle

It took me a second but the my photography session with Christina Danielle is done! I'm ecstatic over the finished product. I can honestly see my working slowly progressing and that's what matters.

Crystal Jones

I believe this was probably one of the most enjoyable ventures I've done so far with the camera.
I started off with a out of focus piece to set a beginning. I should've done the same for the ending piece of the shoot, but it's a small gesture I'll remember to implement the next time I shoot another body of work.

I think one of the most interesting things surrounding my model was the extent of her body. She's a very long girl. I loved this aspect since it gave me the opportunity to show off her full length in a few specific shots. I had to coach her a good bit, but she knew how to listen. Communication was key in this shoot since the best shots were not (as I like them to usually be) candid.

Still, a great learning experience through production and post-production.
